An HR integration specialist is responsible for maintaining existing and developing new integrations utilizing the HR integration platform to complete these activities. The integration specialist is responsible to own or participate in integration requirement gathering, analysis and design along with integration development and delivery. Delivery responsibility will include continuing integration support through appropriate test phases and post-production deployment in a devops model.
Fundamental to this role will be the ability to provide SME integration support to HR integration customers and stakeholders. This activity would require the integration specialist to engage directly with various teams to drive integration issues to conclusion.
In this role, you will:
· Drive end to end integration delivery through analysis, design, build and deployment.
· Manage requirement gathering and analysis necessary for integration build.
· Develop new and enhanced integrations following appropriate HRIT and HR delivery lifecycle.
· Develop and maintain integration patterns and blueprints in accordance with HRIT and HR standards.
· Document integration specifications and patterns in accordance with HRIT and HR standards.
· Assist with test scenario preparation and guidance for HRIT and HR test teams.
· Support and troubleshoot integrations through deployment test phase pipelines.
· Provide HRIT integration SME production support for integration troubleshooting and analysis.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Java development experience
· Integration development experience
· Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark preferred; Scala a plus).
· Solid understanding of Delta Lake (ACID, MERGE, OPTIMIZE/ZORDER, vacuuming, time travel).
· Experience integrating with cloud storage and data services (Azure/AWS/GCP) and using JDBC connectors.
· Proficiency in SQL and data modelling concepts (dimensional, lakehouse patterns).
· Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT/XPath expressions, SQL, JMS, CFX
