About the Role

Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations. In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with payroll and tax preparation. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and contribute to the preparation of financial reports.

The adecuado candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Excel.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department.




- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and clients.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent experience

Required Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar accounting role.
