As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Manufacturing at Honeywell, you will lead high-impact process improvement initiatives that strengthen safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer outcomes. You will combine advanced data analysis, Lean Six Sigma methods, and manufacturing expertise to eliminate waste, reduce variation, improve process capability, and translate operational performance into measurable business results.

Working across functions and organizational levels, you will guide complex projects from definition through sustained control while building a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Lead complex, cross-functional improvement projects using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methodology, with clear charters, milestones, governance, and control plans.
- Apply Design of Experiments, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression, and other advanced statistical methods to identify critical process drivers and optimize operating parameters.
- Establish and sustain Statistical Process Control systems, including appropriate control charts and reaction plans, to detect assignable-cause variation before defects occur.
- Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis and Gage R&R; studies to confirm that production data and inspection systems are accurate, repeatable, and reproducible.
- Use Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, SMED, standard work, flow, pull systems, Kanban, and Just-in-Time principles to remove non-value-added activity and improve throughput.
- Lead Process FMEA and risk-reduction activities; implement error-proofing and preventive controls to improve process robustness and manufacturing readiness.
- Quantify benefits in partnership with Finance, converting improvements in scrap, cycle time, downtime, inventory, labor,



and capacity into validated savings and return on investment.
- Manage project scope, resources, risks, schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure improvements are delivered on time and sustained.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, and Operations teams to align site-level execution with business priorities.
- Coach and mentor Green Belts, Yellow Belts, engineers, and operations teams in problem solving, statistical thinking, and continuous improvement methods.
- Lead change adoption by engaging stakeholders, communicating the case for change, and embedding new practices into daily management systems.
- Promote Honeywell safety, integrity, quality, and compliance expectations throughout all improvement activities.

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Demonstrated experience leading DMAIC projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience with advanced statistical analysis, including Design of Experiments, hypothesis testing, regression, SPC, process capability, and Measurement Systems Analysis.
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing methods such as Value Stream Mapping, SMED, standard work, flow, pull,



Kanban, and mistake-proofing.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating technical findings to operators, engineers, business leaders, and executives.

- Experience in high-mix, regulated, or global manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to validate significant annual productivity, cost, quality, or capacity benefits with Finance.
- Strong business acumen and experience preparing executive-level project updates and investment recommendations.
- Experience coaching Belt candidates and building continuous improvement capability across an organization.
- Knowledge of digital manufacturing, data visualization, automation, or Industry 4.0 applications.
- Ability to influence without authority, manage resistance, and sustain change across diverse teams and cultures.
