Please Note: This is an independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance. Responsibilities:

- Review new cases and provide detailed intake assessments
- Support attorneys with strategy planning and case preparation
- Keep case files accurate, current, and well-organized
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout their case
- Facilitate communication between clients and legal staff
- Collaborate with outside professionals when necessary
- Assist with legal research and document drafting




- Offer reliable day-to-day support to the legal team

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant role
- Familiarity with legal processes, terminology, and documentation
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
