We are looking for a highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher & Transportation Coordinator to manage and coordinate the movement of products from manufacturers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers throughout the United States.

The easiest way to understand this position is to understand the different ways a shipment can move through our company.

Your job is to make sure the right product is picked up from the right place, by the right truck, at the right time, and delivered to the right destination.

What You Will Actually Do

1. New Customer — Manufacturer Directly to the Customer A salesperson brings in a new customer. The customer orders a custom-made product—for example, 100,000 units. The Production Manager works with the manufacturer to have the product made. Once production is finished and the order is ready, your job begins.

Receive the shipment information from the Production Manager. Understand what is being shipped, how much, where it is located, and where it needs to go.

Arrange the truck/carrier to pick up the order from the manufacturer. Coordinate the pickup date and time.

Make sure the driver and manufacturer have the correct information. Follow the shipment from pickup through delivery.

Confirm that the customer successfully received the order. In this situation, the product goes: Manufacturer → Customer

2. New Customer — Manufacturer to Our Warehouse Sometimes the customer does not want the entire order delivered immediately. For example, the customer orders 100,000 units, but wants us to store the inventory and deliver smaller quantities over time. Once the manufacturer finishes producing the 100,000 units, you will arrange transportation from the manufacturer to the correct warehouse.





Coordinate the truck/carrier. Schedule pickup from the manufacturer.

Coordinate with the warehouse so they know what is arriving and when.

Make sure the warehouse is ready to receive the shipment.

Follow the truck and handle any delays or transportation problems.

Confirm that the entire shipment successfully arrived at the correct warehouse. In this situation, the shipment goes: Manufacturer → Our Warehouse

3. Ongoing Customer — Our Warehouse to the Customer Once the inventory is stored in our warehouse, the customer may request regular releases

. For example, the warehouse has 100,000 units, and the customer wants 10,000 units delivered every week.

The Inventory

Manager tracks the inventory and creates a release ticket when 10,000 units need to be shipped. That ticket comes to you. The ticket tells you what product needs to be shipped, how much needs to be picked up, which warehouse it is coming from, and where it needs to be delivered. Review the release ticket. Arrange the correct truck/carrier. Schedule the pickup with the warehouse. Make sure the warehouse knows exactly what needs to be released. Give the driver the correct pickup and delivery information. Confirm the truck arrives for pickup.

Follow the shipment while it is in transit. Confirm the customer receives the shipment successfully. In this situation, the shipment goes:



Our Warehouse → Customer This may happen every week, every month, or whenever the customer requests another release. You Own the Shipment From Pickup to Delivery Scheduling the truck is only the beginning of the job.

Once a shipment is assigned to you, you are responsible for following it until it is successfully delivered. If a truck is late, a driver does not show up, a warehouse cannot release the product, an appointment changes, or there is a delivery problem, you are responsible for communicating with everyone involved and getting the issue resolved.

You will work closely with production, inventory, warehouses, trucking companies, carriers, drivers, sales, and other team members to keep every shipment moving properly.

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with strong logistics, transportation, freight, dispatching, or shipping coordination experience who understands how to manage a high-volume, detail-heavy operation. 3PL experience is a major plus.

The right person must be extremely responsible, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and excellent at communication and follow-up.

This is a large operation with many warehouses, customers, trucks, pickups, deliveries, and shipments moving at the same time. You must be able to manage multiple shipments, stay on top of every detail, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Most importantly: When a shipment is given to you, you take ownership of it from the moment transportation needs to be arranged until the product is successfully delivered to the correct destination.

Pay: $102.00 - $135.00 per hour
