Alliance Virtual Offices
San Pedro Garza García
Alliance Virtual Offices is a digital marketplace that connects hundreds of thousands of business clients with 1,000+ professional workspace centers across North America. We give growing businesses a real address, a live receptionist, meeting space, and the tools to operate professionally, without a traditional office.
The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for giving Alliance's marketing and product teams a clear, evidence-based picture of who buys a virtual office, why they buy it, and what they still need. Targeting and roadmap decisions today lean on scattered anecdotes and assumptions about AVO's clients. This role replaces that with research: buyer personas built from real data, market gaps sized and documented, and competitors tracked closely enough that their next move rarely surprises us.
The persons and market maps this role builds change which leads marketing chases, which verticals product builds for next, and how AVO wins deals competitors currently take.
Goals
- Marketing and product teams work from a validated set of buyer personas, refreshed on a regular cycle, that changes how campaigns are targeted and how features get prioritized.
- AVO enters new verticals and geographies with a documented view of what those markets actually need.
- Competitive moves and market shifts get flagged early enough that Alliance's positioning and roadmap adjust ahead of the market.
- Marketing, Product, and Sales leaders share one source of truth for who AVO's buyers are and what drives their decisions.
Responsibilities The Market Intelligence Analyst owns how AVO understands its market: who buys, why they buy, and where the gaps are. Concretely:
- Segments AVO's client base into buyer personas using CRM data, transaction history, and qualitative research, and keeps those personas current as the business evolves.
- Tracks competitors' pricing, positioning, and product moves across the virtual office and flexible workspace market, and reports the changes that matter.
- Runs primary and secondary market research, including surveys, interviews, and desk research, to test hypotheses about unmet client needs.
- Monitors industry, economic, and behavioral trends that affect demand for virtual offices and flags the ones that should change AVO's plans.
- Identifies underserved verticals, geographies, and buyer segments and sizes the opportunity for marketing and product to act on.
- Analyzes shifts in demand, pricing, and buyer behavior across the broader adaptable workspace market.
- Builds recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards that translate research into recommendations marketing and product can act on directly.
- Advises marketing and product leaders directly on targeting, messaging, and roadmap decisions as an internal consultant on market and customer questions.
What Success Looks Like
- A documented set of buyer personas exists, is used by marketing to build campaign targeting, and gets revisited on a defined quarterly cadence.
- Product roadmap discussions cite this role's segmentation or opportunity analysis when features get prioritized.
- At least one new vertical or segment identified by this role gets tested by marketing within two quarters of being flagged.
- Competitive and trend monitoring produces briefs that reach marketing and product leadership on a predictable cycle, not only when requested.
- Marketing's targeting and messaging decisions cite this role's research as the basis for the call
