Responsibilities:
- - Instrument applications using OpenTelemetry SDKs in Node.js/TypeScript.
- - Implement and maintain custom metrics and telemetry.
- - Contribute instrumentation changes across repositories owned by multiple teams.
- - Support Kubernetes and Helm-based deployments.
- - Work with GraphQL services and APIs.
- - Validate telemetry signals against independent data sources before they are used for alerting.
- - Collaborate with platform and observability teams to improve monitoring coverage and reliability.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- - Strong hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
- - Experience developing in both Node.js/TypeScript
- - Experience implementing custom metrics and application telemetry.
- - Solid understanding of observability, monitoring, and distributed systems.
- - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- - Experience working with GraphQL.
- - Ability to contribute across multiple codebases and drive cross-team PRs to completion.
- - Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
