Academy+ is seeking an Online English Teacher to work with primary and middle school students in a 100% online learning environment.

Students are grouped according to their English proficiency level rather than strictly by school grade. The position currently includes beginner-level groups.

Classes are conducted entirely in English using a communicative approach supported by visual resources, realia, examples, gestures, interactive activities, and everyday situations.

Responsibilities

- Teach live online English classes.
- Plan lessons and prepare teaching materials.
- Design interactive and age-appropriate activities.
- Teach vocabulary and language structures through meaningful contexts.
- Support the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Encourage students to communicate in English during class.
- Adapt teaching strategies to students’ ages and proficiency levels.
- Maintain an organized and positive online classroom environment.
- Assess students and monitor their academic progress.
- Complete grading and academic follow-up.
- Participate in academic meetings and school activities as required.
- Maintain communication with the academic team.

Requirements
- Minimum B2+ English proficiency supported by an official certification.




- Minimum C1 Spanish proficiency for communication with the academic team, meetings, institutional guidelines, and student follow-up.
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching, Languages, Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching English to children and/or adolescents.
- Experience teaching beginner-level students is preferred.
- Ability to conduct classes entirely in English.
- Knowledge of communicative teaching strategies and the use of visual support, realia, modeling, examples, and context.
- Online classroom management skills.
- Responsibility, punctuality, organization, patience, and adaptability.
- Personal computer with stable internet access.
- Functioning camera and microphone.
- Appropriate space for online teaching.

Schedule

Monday to Friday

- 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- 10:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
- Mexico City time
- 100% online
