New Notes They are looking for an Oracle Developer who can act as a quarterback across the entire technology team someone who can effectively connect and coordinate with developers, testers, clients, business stakeholders, and other technical teams.

The idóneo candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle development, SQL/PLSQL, database development, integrations, troubleshooting, and application support , along with the ability to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT a .NET Developer role and is not a traditional DevOps-only position. We need a senior platform/database engineer with deep hands-on production Oracle DBA experience. FIS Relius experience is a major plus, but it is NOT required and Client can train the right candidate on Relius.

Full Client runs FIS Relius Administration as a core recordkeeping platform backed by Oracle and hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We are seeking a Platform Engineer to own this environment end to end, including databases, environments, production deployments, and ongoing production support.

This is not a pure DBA or pure DevOps position. The engineer will serve as the technical bridge between development and production, reviewing scripts, deploying releases and hotfixes, troubleshooting production issues to the data level, managing vendor escalations, and ensuring the Oracle platform remains patched, performant, monitored, and stable.

Key Responsibilities Relius Platform Ownership





- Own Dev/UAT/Prod Relius environments
- Support upgrades and service packs
- Perform environment refreshes and configuration changes
- Manage capacity, disk, tablespaces, and audit logs
- Manage FIS support cases and coordinate with database/infrastructure vendors
- Support the Relius application/web tier, including service restarts, configuration changes, and deployment checks

Oracle Database Engineering
- Perform OS and Oracle DB patching across OCI environments
- Manage backup, restore, recovery, and environment refresh operations
- Troubleshoot and tune long-running queries, stored procedures, batches, and reports
- Develop PL/SQL scripts for data fixes, corrective actions, and integrations

Deployment & Release Engineering
- Review SQL/PL/SQL scripts before UAT and Production deployment
- Execute releases and production hotfixes
- Document deployments and changes
- Improve deployment repeatability, safety, and auditability

Production Support
- Serve as an escalation point for Relius production incidents
- Troubleshoot transaction posting, statements/reports, participant/plan data, and inbound/outbound file-feed issues
- Diagnose problems at the database and data-model level
- Develop safe corrective scripts within a regulated financial environment

Platform & Data Integration
- Support Oracle-to-data-lake pipelines and CDC-based replication
- Support integrations with custodians, advisors, and downstream systems
- Monitor platform/database health and respond to alerts
- Manage database access for onboarding/offboarding
