Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer:

- Develop and maintain OTT streaming applications for Android TV and Smart TV platforms.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture.
- Develop frontend applications using React JS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Build Android TV applications using Kotlin and Android technologies.
- Work on Smart TV platforms including LG WebOS, Samsung Tizen, Sony Android TV, Hisense VIDAA, Netrange, Whale OS and similar ecosystems.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness and user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, QA and Backend teams of client, internal.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
- Define technical architecture, design standards and implementation guidelines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and design specifications.
- Work with external partners and stakeholders during development and deployment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must Have Skills





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of Smart TV / OTT application development experience.
- Strong Kotlin and Android TV development expertise.
- Strong React JS development experience.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with Smart TV platform SDKs and APIs.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture and software design principles.
- Good understanding of TV focus management and navigation frameworks.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Ability to work closely with Client and Offshore teams.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Media, Broadcast, OTT Streaming or Communication domains.
- Experience delivering multi-platform Smart TV applications across LG, Samsung, Sony, Hisense, Vidaa, Netrange, Zeasn and Whale OS.
