About Vulcury

Vulcury is a California-based venture studio that builds and scales companies in AI, advanced manufacturing, asset management, real estate, and education. Our portfolio includes Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing, Calisade Asset Management, and several AI ventures in active incubation.

We build around structural shifts, and the people who work here think in systems.

The Role

This is a hands-on communications apprenticeship, not a clippings-and-check-in internship. You'll work directly with leadership on how Vulcury and its portfolio companies show up in the press, in industry awards, and at the events where sector conversations happen. Your work will be public, the companies operate in consequential industries, and you'll finish with a portfolio you built yourself.

What You'll Do

- Media relations: Build targeted media lists across AI, manufacturing, investment, and real estate. Draft press releases, pitch emails, and media briefs, and track coverage.
- Thought leadership: Find relevant trade publications and their editorial calendars. Help draft articles and expert commentary that position our founders as credible voices in their sectors.
- Awards and recognition: Track industry awards, innovation lists, and rankings. Draft submissions that turn company achievements into persuasive stories, and keep a live pipeline of deadlines.
- Events and speaking: Research conferences, summits, and investor forums,



and help secure speaking and panel slots for our founders. Draft speaker bios, abstracts, and briefing documents. Support Vulcury-hosted virtual sessions, launches, and roundtables.

What We're Looking For

Must have:

- Clear, concise, persuasive writing in English (professional working proficiency) and Spanish
- The ability to turn complex ideas into accessible stories
- Strong research instincts and organization across multiple deadlines and brands
- Genuine curiosity about AI, startups, and investing
- Experience in PR, journalism, student media, debate, or event organizing
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Muck Rack, Eventbrite, or Luma
- Studies in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or a related field

- Full-time, remote from anywhere in Mexico, with daily overlap with Pacific Time.
