The Role

We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our Engineering Team. This role combines deep hands-on engineering capability with technical leadership across multiple tech stacks.

The adecuado candidate is a senior technical leader who can define architecture, guide engineering standards, solve complex cross-platform problems, and support the delivery of secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions in a fast-moving environment.

This position also requires strong collaboration and leadership skills. The Principal Full Stack Engineer must work effectively with engineers, product stakeholders, and delivery teams, while helping shape ways of working, mentoring others, and driving high engineering quality. The ideal candidate should be proactive, pragmatic, and able to balance hands-on implementation with strategic technical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on Engineering: own and implement full stack features end-to-end as well as leading evaluation and adoption of new tools/methodologies to improve company standards
- Quality Assurance: Enforce code quality standards and support QA teams and ensure test implementation and coverage are meeting expectations
- Technical Leadership: Design and architect scalable systems aligned to business goals and drive strategic decisions on processes for efficiency, optimization, and long-term maintainability
- Best Practices: Promote and model company best practices day-to-day while driving continuous improvement through process implementation
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with business ops, stakeholders, and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions and act as the intermediary between business operations and engineering
- Team Development: Mentor engineers at all levels while also leading training sessions, code reviews, and provide constructive feedback and align technical standards across the team

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade applications. Experience working in senior technical roles involving architecture, technical decision-making, and collaboration across engineering teams.

Must Have:

- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, including strict typing, modern software design principles, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection patterns.
- Strong experience designing and implementing full stack production applications, with experience in modern frontend frameworks. Experience with Vue.js and Nuxt is strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Azure platform, including application hosting, serverless and/or containerized workloads, identity and access management, data services, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
- Prior experience building LLM-powered applications in production, including tool use/function calling, prompt engineering, streaming, latency management, and integration with external systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or comparable LLM APIs at the application/API level, beyond prompt experimentation.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability in production systems.
- Experience making architectural decisions and providing technical leadership across engineering teams.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and multi-model AI architectures.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar LLM tool-use/orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Web PubSub, PostgreSQL, Blob Storage, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and vector/image processing workflows.
- Experience working with SVG, EPS, AI, and PLT formats, including conversion and vector-processing pipelines.
