About the Role

Our automation handles the easy 80%. You own the 20% it can't — the weird, the ambiguous, the broken. And every edge case you crack becomes the signal for what we automate next. You're not keeping the system running. You're deciding how it grows.

You'll understand how this system behaves in the messy realities of the real world more deeply than anyone else in the company — and that depth is the entire point. The work you surface directly shapes how our automation gets built and scaled.

You'll also be one of the founding members of our Mexico City team. We're hiring a small number of unusually sharp, technical people to build this function from the ground up — the standards, the playbook, and the feedback loop into product all start with you.

What you'll do





- Review and process tenant applications, investigating edge cases and exceptions
- Handle escalations automation can't resolve yet
- Trace failures, mismatches, and irregular cases to root cause
- Surface automation opportunities and system flaws to product and engineering with clear, structured reasoning
- Build deep intuition for how the system behaves under messy, real-world inputs
- Document findings, assumptions, and recommendations so they're reproducible and actionable

What you'll need

- Fluent English — required for internal collaboration and customer-facing work
- 1–2 years in operations, analytics, data, or a technical role (exceptional new grads considered)
- STEM or technical background
- Systems thinking — you see how components connect and anticipate where they'll fail
- Strong analytical instincts — you break problems into parts and find the real root cause
- Sharp communication — you turn a messy observation into a clear, actionable proposal

Nice to have

- Comfort reading code or querying data (SQL)
- Exposure to fraud, risk, or product analytics
- Experience in fast-scaling startups or fintech-adjacent environments
