About the Role

Our automation handles the easy 80%. Your team owns the 20% it can't - and you own the hardest of it. Every edge case the team cracks becomes a signal for what we build next, and you're the one who turns that stream into a prioritized, well-argued case for product and engineering. You don't support the automation - you shape how it gets scaled and built.

This is the senior technical anchor of our product operations function.

You'll own the hardest applications and escalations, but your real mandate is the feedback loop between operations and the product. You'll turn what the team sees on the ground into a prioritized, well-argued stream of automation opportunities and system fixes for product and engineering - and set the standard for how the rest of the team surfaces those insights.

We need someone deeply technical who thinks in systems and sees second-order effects - how the platform behaves, where it breaks, and what's worth building next. The role will evolve as the product does, and you'll help define what it becomes.





You'll also be a founding member of our Mexico City office. You're not joining a team - you're helping build one. You'll set the bar for how it investigates, documents, and surfaces insight, and help shape what this function becomes.

What you'll do

- Own the most complex applications, edge cases, and escalations
- Drive the operations-to-product feedback loop - identify, structure, and prioritize automation opportunities and system issues
- Partner directly with product and engineering to scope fixes and improvements
- Set the bar for how the team investigates, documents, and surfaces insights
- Mentor specialists and raise the analytical rigor of the team
- Track patterns across the workflow to pre-empt failures before they scale

What you'll need

- Fluent English - required for cross-functional work
- 4–5 years in operations, analytics, risk, or a technical role, with a track record of driving improvements
- STEM or technical background
- Strong systems thinking - you hold the whole picture and see how changes ripple
- Proven ability to break down complex problems and land on the optimal solution
- Excellent communication - you translate operational reality into clear, prioritized proposals product and engineering can act on
- Experience influencing or mentoring others

Nice to have

- Hands-on with data (SQL) or modern data tooling
- Background in fraud, compliance, or product analytics
- Experience building or improving operational processes at scale
