Responsibilities
- Define and execute an endtoend qualityengineering strategy for applications APIs integrations and cloud services
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks for unit API integration regression performance and reliability testing
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review requirements user stories and acceptance criteria
- Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines and establish appropriate quality gates
- Validate securecoding requirements aligned with OWASP principles
- Test authentication authorisation IAM rolebased access and leastprivilege controls
- Verify dataclassification dataprotection encryption masking and securetransmission requirements
- Conduct performance load stress endurance and volumetry testing
- Validate platform reliability resilience error handling recoverability and service degradation behaviour
- Verify application observability through logs metrics traces alerts and operational dashboards
- Record prioritise and track defects through resolution and retesting
- Analyse test failures and collaborate with engineering teams on rootcause identification
- Prepare test plans automation reports quality dashboards defect metrics and releasereadiness recommendations
- Continuously improve test coverage automation efficiency testdata management and feedback cycles
Required
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing QA automation or quality engineering
- Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
- Handson knowledge of unit integration API regression performance and reliability testing
- Understanding of OWASP securecoding principles and applicationsecurity testing
- Knowledge of IAM authentication authorisation and leastprivilege access controls
- Understanding of data classification encryption privacy and securedata handling
- Experience integrating test automation with CICD pipelines
- Practical experience conducting stress load endurance and volumetry tests
- Familiarity with observability concepts including logs metrics distributed traces and alerts
- Strong analytical defectmanagement documentation and communication skills
Nice to have skills
- Experience testing cloudnative microservices eventdriven or AIenabled applications
- Familiarity with Python or JavaScriptbased automation tools
- Knowledge of APItesting and performancetesting tools
- Experience with containerised test environments and infrastructure automation
- Securitytesting or performanceengineering certification
