About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the compliance, effectiveness, and quality of shop processes in accordance with applicable aviation authority regulations, OEM requirements, customer expectations, the Quality Management System (QMS), and company procedures.

This role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development, review, and implementation of internal procedures and forms, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality investigations to identify root causes of nonconformities and customer complaints, ensuring the effective use of root cause analysis methodologies.
- Conduct internal audits across different company departments to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.




- Reports and request action plans for non-conformances and improvement opportunities.
- Follows the correction of non-conformities, verifying that containment action is taken on time and monitoring its effectiveness of action plans.
- Support the creation, analysis, and continuous monitoring of quality performance indicators to drive improvement initiatives.
- Conduct spot audits, calibrate personnel involved in the spot audit program, and verify the completion and effectiveness of resulting action plans.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product quality control within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Familiarity with MRO standard practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of CFM56 and LEAP engines.
- Familiarity with quality standards, QMS, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and Bow-Tie methodologies.
- Understanding of MRO standard practices.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Availability to work different shifts based on operational needs
