The Quality Coordinator is responsible for leading and supervising the quality team to ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Oversees the implementation of quality management systems, providing technical and administrative guidance in manufacturing and control processes, with the goal of ensuring product conformity and customer satisfaction. Applies professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to resolve a variety of complex problems. Works autonomously, receiving general instructions for routine tasks and detailed directions for new projects or assignments.

Job Requirements

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Quality Department and assigned personnel.

- Implement and follow up on quality plans for new products, engineering changes, or

production transfers.
- Support problem-solving related to quality, leading root cause investigations and

determining corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper training and development of Quality team members.
- Coordinate internal and external quality audits (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.), managing

the creation, presentation, and maintenance of required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements in

daily plant operations.
- Supervise the implementation and monitoring of inspection plans and acceptance

criteria.
- Guarantee proper management and resolution of customer complaints, including

implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement of processes and systems, promoting

LEAN culture and best practices within the quality area.
- Keep updated on new standards, regulations, testing methods, products,



and relevant

technologies.
- Facilitate meetings and report quality performance indicators to management and

other departments.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, preferably in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing industries.

- Strong leadership and management skills for multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced knowledge of quality standards (AS9100, ISO9001).
- Experience in preparation and control of internal and external audits.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques, statistical methods, and continuous

improvement tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling information.
- Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and creation of First Article Inspection

Reports (FAI - AS9102).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
