All Service Moving is seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Operations & Maintenance Manager in Mexico to remotely manage the maintenance and repair operations of our U.S.-based commercial 110 unit truck fleet.

This is not an administrative fleet position. We need someone who understands diesel trucks, can troubleshoot mechanical problems with drivers and shops, challenge unnecessary repairs, negotiate costs, and keep trucks operating.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive maintenance and repairs for commercial trucks and equipment.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and determine the appropriate repair solution.
- Communicate directly with drivers, repair shops, dealerships and vendors.
- Review estimates and challenge unnecessary parts, labor and repairs.
- Negotiate repair pricing and control fleet maintenance costs.
- Track repairs from initial diagnosis through completion.
- Verify completed work before approving invoices.
- Manage preventive-maintenance schedules and DOT inspection requirements.
- Track warranties and ensure warranty repairs are properly claimed.
- Reduce truck downtime and identify repeat mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records using Fleetio and Samsara.
- Track fleet KPIs,
maintenance spending and vehicle availability.
- Escalate major mechanical or cost issues to company leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience managing diesel truck maintenance or commercial fleets.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, brakes, electrical systems, drivetrains and common truck failures.
- Experience working directly with repair shops and evaluating repair estimates.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical problems remotely.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience supporting U.S. trucking operations is highly preferred.
- Fleetio, Samsara or similar fleet-management/telematics experience preferred.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of fleet problems and follows them through until the truck is safely repaired and back in service. Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $32,225.00 - $45,112.00 per month
