Senior Salesforce QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across Salesforce applications. The adecuado candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce functional testing, manual testing, API validation, and QA best practices. Experience with automation is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.
- Validate Salesforce features including Lightning Experience, custom objects, Apex components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and validation rules.
- Test integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Support and maintain test automation frameworks where applicable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide testing estimates, and promote QA best practices.




- Assist with release validation and testing across sandbox environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Software QA experience.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security, user roles, data models, and release processes.
- Solid understanding of STLC, functional testing, regression testing, and manual testing methodologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience building or maintaining UI and API automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience testing complex Salesforce integrations and business workflows.
