About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our corporate team and play a key role in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities across the organization.

This position requires a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day corporate accounting activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Perform and review account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
- Support financial reporting and management reporting.
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate accounting information across different entities and departments.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and elimination.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to increase accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, HR, and other corporate departments.




- Prepare financial information and analysis for management as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with U.S.-based and Mexico-based teams in English and Spanish.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong experience with general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Experience working with multiple entities or intercompany transactions is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish – professional proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S. companies or multinational organizations.
- Experience with U.S. GAAP and/or Mexican accounting practices.
- Experience supporting external audits.
- Experience with financial consolidation and intercompany accounting.
- Experience working with accounting systems or ERP implementations.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
