Tech Lead opportunity with our client. This is a Remote – Mexico position.
We’re looking for a strong backend engineer with hands-on experience in Golang, Python, Kafka, and AWS.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience with Golang and Python – both are required.
- Strong Apache Kafka experience; Kafka will be a major focus during the client interview.
- Experience with AWS, particularly DynamoDB and other core AWS services.
- Understanding of how AWS resources are created and deployed using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes/K8s concepts and CI/CD workflows. You do not need to be a CI/CD expert, but you should be able to understand and work with the workflows independently.
- Experience with monitoring and observability using tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, PagerDuty, or similar.
- Strong understanding of application monitoring, troubleshooting, and production environments.
- TypeScript is nice to have but not mandatory.
Important: The client is looking for someone who can independently understand the development, deployment, Kubernetes, and observability ecosystem. Candidates who rely entirely on a separate DevOps team for AWS deployments or have limited understanding of these areas may not be considered.
