Job Description
Title: Commercial & Sales Planning Internship - Interlomas
Position type: Part-time position

Location: Interlomas' General Offices
Duration: 12-18 months
Work schedule: part-time with adaptable working hours
Salary: The gross salary for interns ranges from $9,000 mxn to $18,000 mxn and compensation may vary based on the work schedule you select.

About the role: As a Commercial & Sales Planning Intern, you will gain invaluable experience in our Sales department, working on projects that include Key Account Management, Shopper-Based Design, Category Management, and Business Analysis.
What kind of internship projects you can expect?
As Commercial & Sales Planning Internship you will:
+ Design and execute reports to track key customer fundamentals.
+ Develop strategies to win in your category with the client, negotiating with trade marketing and other internal functions to make it happen.
+ Manage end-to-end special projects such as eCommerce and contests: strategy development, fund planning, performance verification, reporting, etc.
+ Interact and negotiate with various multifunctional areas of the client, including Directors.

Position Summary
This position supports the development and analysis of the monthly commercial forecast. The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst also promotes financial understanding and reinforces sound financial principles across the Commercial Organization. Key responsibilities include supporting the achievement of the Commercial Gross Margin plan and forecast by providing analysis, actionable insights, and decision-making support.
Responsibilities
Specific Accountabilities
+ Lead the customer teams during business planning by providing financial and business analysis (in collaboration with the Finance COE); analyze customer plans to ensure financial expectations are achieved.
+ Investigate and provide understanding about Market/Cluster Performance, Outlook and Risk profile, through analysis and partnering with Commercial Teams.
+ Provide decision support to Commercial Teams to help optimize Energizer's sales and profit growth.
+ Manage the Trade Spend funds and pricing strategy to optimize ROI and ensure financial goals are met
+ Provide financial analysis for major proposals affecting the business; e.g. contract renewals, line reviews and competitive pressures.
+ Support delivery of system & process improvements through collaboration with TG COE and engagement with the commercial team.
+ In depth evaluation (review & commentary on trends & anomalies) and reporting to key stakeholders for month end close activities & reports - examples: Monthly Flash Report (MFR), GSR and Working Capital Reconciliation, etc.
Establish follow-up actions to; course correct poor performance, or amply good outcomes

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
+ Min 2-4 years business experience
+ Complexity: Most likely single market, in direct BP responsibility. Multi in support role.
+ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment, delivering quality output while adhering to tight deadlines
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
