Job Description
The Sr. Lead Infrastructure - Core Platforms is a senior technical position responsible for the design, engineering, delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of foundational infrastructure platforms within a global technology environment.

The role focuses on core infrastructure technologies including data center environments, compute, virtualization, identity and authentication, PKI, backup, monitoring, automation, and related enterprise services.

This position serves as a senior technical resource and escalation point for complex infrastructure challenges. The successful candidate will translate enterprise strategy and architectural direction into secure, resilient, scalable, and supportable infrastructure solutions.

The role will contribute to major infrastructure initiatives, including data center transformations, platform modernization, identity and authentication enhancements, automation, infrastructure resilience, technology evaluations, migrations, refresh programs, and continuous operational improvement.

The position requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with the ability to lead complex infrastructure initiatives, collaborate across technology teams, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot critical issues, and mentor other engineers.





Key responsibilities include designing and implementing core infrastructure platforms; supporting workplace technology and Microsoft 365 services; providing technical leadership for data center and hybrid infrastructure; managing identity and directory services; improving security and resilience; developing automation with PowerShell and Ansible; improving monitoring and observability; supporting infrastructure projects; providing Level 2 / Level 3 support; and serving as a senior escalation point for complex incidents.

Requirements 7+ years of experience as an Infrastructure / Systems Engineer in enterprise environments.

Demonstrated experience leading complex infrastructure design and delivery without direct people-management responsibility.

Experience supporting business-critical platforms with high-availability and recoverability requirements.

Strong hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

ITIL qualification or equivalent operational experience.

Strong experience with Windows Server.

Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft Entra.

Experience with Certificate Services / PKI.

Experience with Veeam, Cohesity, or similar enterprise backup solutions.

Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms.

Experience with load balancers and application gateways.

Experience with SolarWinds or cloud-native monitoring and observability solutions.

Experience with PowerShell, Ansible, and configuration management.

Experience working in integral,



multicultural technology organizations.

Ability to work effectively in complex and fast-paced enterprise environments.

Strong technical communication skills.

Proactive and self-directed approach.

Strong focus on engineering quality and operational reliability.

Experience applying DevOps and SRE principles to infrastructure engineering.

Relevant technical certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Requirements
Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role in a fintech environment. Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of tech professionals. Extensive experience working with API integrations and a deep understanding of related technologies. Prior work in the money transfer or BaaS sectors is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. Excellent communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards in the fintech industry. Proven ability to scale technology infrastructure to support rapid business growth. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing fintech operations. Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within a tech organization. Collaborative and inclusive leadership style fostering a positive and innovative work culture.
