We're Hiring: Senior Accounting Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Associate to support a diverse portfolio of clients while delivering high-quality accounting, financial analysis, compliance, and advisory services.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys solving complex accounting issues, managing client relationships, and working independently in a fast-paced client-service environment.

Remote (Mexico-based candidates supporting U.S. clients)

Monday to Friday
⏰ 9:00 am – 6:00 pm PST

Role Overview
As a Senior Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for managing accounting engagements, performing financial analysis, supporting compliance requirements, and serving as a trusted resource for clients and internal teams. The adecuado candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and perform detailed financial analysis.
Review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Research accounting issues, document findings, and recommend practical solutions.
Monitor cash activity and prepare timely cash reports.
Prepare and review sales tax, property tax, CAT, and other compliance filings.




Support financial reporting activities and communicate financial impacts to clients.
Manage client engagements, including timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable execution.
Independently manage multiple projects and work through accounting challenges while meeting deadlines.

✅ What We're Looking For
5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and US GAAP
Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns and compliance filings
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required)
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Public accounting or client-service experience preferred

Compensation:
24,000 – 30,000 MXN + law benefits (Payroll)
30,000 – 36,000 MXN + benefits (Contractor)
