Your Role

As a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native solutions that enable organizations to accelerate their digital transformation journeys. You will work with modern cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms supporting data, application, and infrastructure workloads.

You will collaborate with Cloud Architects, Developers, Data Engineers, DevOps teams, and Business Stakeholders to deliver innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Responsibilities & Scope

Cloud Engineering & Solution Delivery

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
- Develop and implement cloud architecture best practices, standards, and governance controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based business solutions.

Infrastructure & Platform Management

- Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools.
- Configure networking, storage, compute, and security services within GCP environments.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.

Cloud Security & Governance

- Implement cloud security controls and access management policies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and governance frameworks.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) configurations.
- Monitor cloud environments for security, compliance, and operational risks.




- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and remediation plans.

Automation & DevOps

- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud deployment automation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Participate in cloud monitoring, observability, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Promote DevOps practices and continuous improvement across cloud operations.
