Main Purpose
To ensure the integrity of financial information and full tax compliance for the entity in Mexico. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, guaranteeing precise monthly closings, managing strict control of Accounts Payable, and generating financial reports to support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Accounting & Tax Management: Lead monthly and annual accounting closing processes aligned with corporate standards. Ensure the accurate calculation and filing of tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings), guaranteeing strict application of local accounting standards (NIF) and corporate policies.
- Accounts Payable Control: Manage the full payment cycle for domestic and foreign suppliers. Validate the correct receipt of tax invoices (CFDI) for deductibility and manage cash flow and payment scheduling.
- Treasury & Compliance: Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor company liquidity.
Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring full compliance with local tax authorities (SAT).
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet). Perform budget variance analysis and actively participate in the continuous improvement of internal financial controls.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in general accounting, treasury, and tax management within multinational companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- English proficiency (B2 level required for reporting results to international headquarters and understanding general guidelines).
- Availability to work on-site in Jurica, Querétaro.
- Analytical and Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data and convert it into strategic insights.
- Integrity and Professional Ethics: Impeccable management of financial resources and regulatory compliance.
- Autonomy and Proactivity: Proven capacity to manage financial processes independently and establish robust internal controls.
- Monthly Salary: $30,000 MXN.
