we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented ps training operations specialist to support the day-to-day operations of a large-scale instructor-led training (ilt) and professional services education program.

this role will serve as a central point of coordination between learners, instructors, professional services, sales, customer success, education/l&d;, analytics, and internal systems. The idóneo candidate has hands-on experience running training or learning operations and is comfortable managing schedules, lms activities, reporting, learner support, and multiple time-sensitive operational workflows.

this is an operations-focused role, not a traditional project manager, technical trainer, or developer. The successful candidate will own the operational lifecycle of training—from scheduling and enrollment through delivery, reporting, certification, and closeout.

key responsibilities

- manage the scheduling and administration of instructor-led training (ilt) programs.
- maintain a rolling six-month training schedule, including instructor availability, class capacity, resource holds, and delivery requirements.
- create, modify, confirm, reschedule, and cancel training sessions across internal systems and public schedules.
- monitor class enrollment and fill rates and coordinate go/no-go decisions before training delivery.
- communicate schedule changes, cancellations, and operational updates to learners and instructors.




- manage learner and instructor access and troubleshoot basic enrollment, access, and system issues.
- respond to and route inquiries related to training, certification, elearning, academic programs, and sales.
- track training purchases, subscriptions, milestones, fulfillment, and delivery status.
- reconcile training activity and milestones against salesforce records.
- monitor internal training dashboards and partner with analytics teams to investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- pull and analyze lms reports covering attendance, learner activity, assessment scores, certifications, and completion data.
- support certification voucher administration and credly maintenance.
- maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- document processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and operational accuracy.
- act as a central point of accountability for the training operations lifecycle.

required qualifications

- hands-on experience in training operations, learning & development operations, customer education, professional services operations, program coordination, or a similar operational function.




- demonstrated experience actually running or coordinating training programs, particularly instructor-led training, customer education, l&d; programs, or certification programs.
- hands-on experience working within an lms or training management platform, including activities such as enrollment, session management, reporting, completion tracking, or access troubleshooting.
- strong experience managing schedules, calendars, instructors/facilitators, class capacity, cancellations, and multiple deadlines.
- strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- experience managing multiple concurrent requests and stakeholders.
- comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, operational data, and data reconciliation.
- strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ability to work independently and take ownership of operational workflows from beginning to end.
- comfortable working with both people and systems to resolve operational issues.

preferred qualifications

- experience with salesforce or similar crm platforms.
- experience supporting large-scale instructor-led training (ilt) or customer training programs.
