we are partnering with a leading global automotive manufacturer to identify a controlling lead specialist for its plant in lerma, state of mexico . This role will be responsible for cost controlling, inventory analysis, fixed assets management, capex tracking, and financial reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.

key requirements

- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- minimum 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, controlling, or manufacturing finance.
- experience within automotive or manufacturing environments.
- advanced english proficiency.
- strong excel skills and erp experience, preferably jd edwards (jde).
- solid understanding of cost systems, inventory management, budgeting, and fixed assets.

key responsibilities

- maintain and update standard costs within the erp system.




- analyze inventory performance, bom accuracy, and cost variances.
- perform inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and month-end closing activities.
- monitor vigente expenses vs. budget and provide actionable analysis.
- manage fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, additions, and disposals.
- track capex projects and maintain investment reporting.
- support financial reporting and drive continuous process improvements.
