About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Loan Officer Assistant to support our mortgage lending team throughout the entire loan lifecycle.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for borrowers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from application through closing. You will assist with document collection, loan file management, borrower communication, pipeline tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Loan Officers with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process.
- Collect, review, organize, and upload required loan documentation.
- Follow up with borrowers regarding outstanding conditions and missing items.
- Maintain accurate and complete loan files within the LOS and CRM systems.
- Track loan milestones, deadlines, statuses, and conditions.
- Coordinate communication between borrowers, processors, underwriters, lenders, realtors, and title companies.
- Provide borrowers with loan status updates and next-step guidance.
- Manage communications via phone, email, text, and CRM platforms.
- Schedule consultations, appointments, and follow-up calls.
- Assist with loan applications and file submissions.
- Support lead management, borrower intake, and database updates.




- Participate in pipeline review meetings and provide status updates.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, banking, financial services, or a related industry.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, borrower intake, loan coordination, or customer service.
- Experience collecting and following up on required documentation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
