Job Description

HP is seeking a Software Tester / Software Quality Engineer to support the quality assurance and validation of software solutions developed for the HP Worldwide Supply Chain and Configuration Services Engineering teams. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications through effective testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge & Skills

- 3-6 years of Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience
- Experience testing applications built using .NET, C#, JavaScript, WPF, WCF, and HTML5 and SQL DB
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and API testing
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data validation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Collaborative team player with a focus on quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
- Validate software requirements, functionality, usability, and performance
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to improve product quality
- Support regression, integration, release, and user acceptance testing activities




- Contribute to test automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing best practices, and release readiness criteria

Qualifications & Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years of Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with Agile delivery and enterprise application testing preferred
