Staff Bookkeeper Remote – Mexico

Full-time | Contractor

We are looking for a Staff Bookkeeper to support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations for multiple clients. This role is idóneo for an accounting professional with solid hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end processes, and client-facing accounting support.

This is a hands-on, operational role with clearly defined workflows and close collaboration with accounting and finance teams.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Support
Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation

Support accounting and payroll processes as needed





Assist with special accounting projects and ad-hoc tasks

2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and month-end close support
~ Experience supporting reconciliations and AP/AR tasks

~ Understanding of basic accounting principles

Experience with journal entries and reconciliations

Excel skills for tracking and reporting is a plus!

Compensation (Direct Contractor): 24,000 MXN libres

Direct Contractor: 12 vacation days, 15-day Christmas bonus, major medical insurance (Sofía Healthcare), accounting support (declaraciones ante Hacienda), and laptop equipment provided.
