About the Role
GSD Staffing is hiring an experienced Project Engineer – Level III to support a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving multiple client environments.

This is a senior-level infrastructure role for a technically strong professional who can lead complex infrastructure projects, work independently, mentor technical resources, and provide technical leadership across diverse client environments .

What You'll Do

Lead and deliver infrastructure projects independently.

Lead projects involving junior engineers and technical resources.

Review and validate project scope and technical requirements.

Design, implement, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions.

Handle complex technical issues and escalations.

Mentor junior technical resources.

Maintain project documentation, metrics, and status reporting.

Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions with Service Desk and technical teams.

Support infrastructure, cloud, networking, Microsoft 365, security, and automation projects.

Requirements

5+ years of infrastructure IT, systems administration, or related experience.

3+ years of independently delivering or leading infrastructure projects.

Strong experience across multiple infrastructure technologies.

Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical,



and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Strong attention to detail and client-service mindset.

Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with several of the following:

TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, and wireless networking

Firewalls such as Meraki, SonicWall, or Cisco ASA

Windows Server and Hyper-V

Microsoft 365

Azure and AWS

Active Directory and Azure Entra ID

Google Workspace

SAN/NAS

Cloud migrations

VoIP systems

Infrastructure security and endpoint management

Preferred Skills
Experience with PowerShell, Python, automation/RPA, Microsoft Intune, Power Automate, APIs, RMM platforms, endpoint security, MFA, SOC solutions, Zero Trust technologies, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Autotask, ConnectWise, and IT Glue is highly valued.

Remote Work Requirements
Candidates must have:

Ability to work with US-based teams and clients.

Flexibility to adjust working hours based on client and project requirements.

Background Check
