Were looking for a warm, fastmoving Healthcare Clinic Receptionist who is fully fluent in both Spanish and English to be the first voice our patients hear. Fluent Spanish is not a preference here its essential to the role, since a significant share of our patients communicate primarily in Spanish. Youll be answering call after call with the same care on the fiftieth as the first, switching between languages seamlessly, while keeping our patient inbox moving right alongside it.

What You Will Own

Patient Communication
Answer and triage a high volume of incoming patient calls, conducting full conversations in either Spanish or English depending on the patients preference
Make outbound calls for appointment confirmations, reminders, and followup coordination in both languages
Monitor and respond to the patient messaging inbox promptly and professionally, matching the patients language in every reply
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments across both clinic locations
Document every patient interaction accurately in Athena Health

FrontLine Patient Experience
Set the tone for each patients experience from the very first hello, in whichever language they speak
Handle urgent or sensitive calls with empathy and appropriate escalation
Keep a calm, organized rhythm even during high callvolume stretches
Communicate clearly and warmly in writing for inbox and messagebased patient contact, in both languages

What We Are Looking For
NonNegotiables
Fluent, native or nearnative Spanish and English speaker required for every applicant, no exceptions. You must be able to conduct an entire patient call comfortably in either language without hesitation.
2 years in a highvolume phonebased role medical receptionist, call center, or similar patient customerfacing environment
Comfortable managing backtoback calls in two languages without losing warmth or accuracy
Proficient with Athena Health or a comparable EMR scheduling platform
Strong written communication in both Spanish and English for inbox and message handling




HIPAAcompliant mindset no PHI stored locally, strict data handling at all times
Reliable remote setup stable highspeed internet, quiet private workspace, headset and webcam
Willing to complete a brief cognitive and DISC assessment as part of the hiring process

Strong Pluses
Prior experience in a multilocation clinic or primary care practice
Familiarity with medical terminology in both English and Spanish
Experience with patient messaging platforms or CRM tools
Comfort working with AI tools to help draft or triage patient responses
