Software Engineer (Postgre SQL) at Baires Dev What You’ll Do Design and develop custom Postgre SQL extensions to meet specific architectural and functional needs. Optimize complex queries and database schemas to ensure maximum performance and resource efficiency. Contribute to Postgre SQL internals and low-level optimizations to improve system reliability and throughput. Develop and maintain sophisticated stored procedures and triggers using PL/pg SQL for advanced data logic. Troubleshoot and resolve deep-seated database performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.



What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on database systems and Postgre SQL. Proven expertise in developing and optimizing Postgre SQL extensions and PL/pg SQL. Deep understanding of Postgre SQL internals, including storage engines and query planning. Hands-on experience with advanced query optimization and performance tuning at scale. Advanced proficiency in English.
