Sr. Manager, Nogales Purchasing This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Productivity & Purchasing group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Ensure timely and continuous flow of supply, to meet both current and future production requirements, and (ii) Direct the tactical purchasing activities for Nogales operations ensuring compliance to all safety guidelines. Requires 10+ years' experience in a Purchasing role with experience in supply chain, Prior management experience and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area, APICS certification or equivalent.

Manage the Direct and MRO purchasing team and ensure continuity of supply for Mexico Operations
Full Raw Material Inventory accountability. Develop a purchasing strategy that ensures supply, but enables the plant to comply with Working Capital targets for the Business
Provide analytics and feedback to the Sourcing team in order to modify key parameters such as MOQ & Lead Times for planned inventory reductions
Manage 3PL relationships and contracts. Tasked with reducing Operating cost and Space utilization for raw material storage
Work in coordination with Sourcing, Engineering and NPI to design the supply chain requirements for new products
Ensure timely and continuous flow of supply, to meet both current and future production requirements
Direct the tactical purchasing activities for Nogales operations ensuring compliance to all safety guidelines
Serve as escalation point for highly complex procurement issue resolution to support the MDI process; assess and establish new protocols and processes, and provide issue resolution to suppliers as needed
Oversee the purchasing activities for all raw & MRO materials,



including order expediting and the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (Master Preferred)
APICS certification or equivalent

Experience:
10+ years experience in supply chain
Prior management experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Highly analytical.
ERP in-depth knowledge (SAP Preferred)
Advanced knowledge of industry trends and supplier capabilities.
Working knowledge of all commodities, and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications
Able to manage supplier negotiations

Ability to travel up to 15%, internationally
