A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes that drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across our Switchgear manufacturing operations. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency, solve technical challenges, and support the successful implementation of new products and manufacturing technologies.

Your day may include analyzing production data, supporting the shop floor, leading continuous improvement initiatives, implementing engineering changes, and driving automation and Industry 4.0 projects. Through your expertise, you will help create safer, more efficient, and more competitive manufacturing processes.

How You'll Make an Impact

- Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Support new product introductions, engineering changes, process transfers, and industrialization projects.
- Identify and implement automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 opportunities to enhance manufacturing performance and data-driven decision making.
- Lead capacity expansion, productivity improvement, cost reduction,



and CapEx projects while coordinating cross-functional and global stakeholders.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related functions within a discrete manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, time studies, PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with manufacturing and engineering tools such as SAP, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Power BI knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Advanced English communication skills with the ability to participate in global discussions and present technical projects effectively.

You will join a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team supporting the growth and operational excellence of Siemens Energy's Switchgear facility in Querétaro. The team works closely with production and global engineering organizations to drive innovation, industrialization, continuous improvement, and sustainable manufacturing performance.
