The role:
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will help drive our goals by:
Act as the trusted business partner to the sales team in the American Region, developing a deep understanding of the business and sales operation.
Partnering with sales teams to
provide
financial insight,
challenge
and support decision-making across customer accounts
Leading financial planning,
budgeting
and forecasting activities for the commercial function
Analysing
performance trends and translating data into actionable insights to improve profitability and cash delivery
Supporting the development and evaluation of business cases, commercial
proposals
and pricing decisions
Driving collaboration between finance,
sales
and operations to ensure alignment on performance and targets
Embedding strong financial controls and ensuring compliance across commercial activities
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex or general
organisation
Strong financial analysis,
modelling
and commercial acumen
Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Experience in budgeting,
forecasting
and performance management processes
Strong communication
skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
Professional accounting qualification (
e.g.
ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
