Quality Engineer
ensures that products and processes consistently meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Job Description
1. Quality Control & Assurance
Manage
nonconformances
, deviations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop and maintain
Control Plans
, inspection criteria, and quality procedures.
Perform
internal audits
and support external audits (ISO, FDA, customer).
Ensure compliance with quality management systems such as
ISO ****, ISO *****, IATF *****
, depending on the industry.
2. Problem Solving & Root‐Cause Analysis
Lead investigations using
8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, Ishikawa
, and other structured tools.
Implement corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
Analyze quality data using
SPC, Minitab, or advanced Excel
to identify trends and risks.
3. Manufacturing Support
Support process validation activities and ensure process capability.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to reduce scrap, rework, and variability.
Review and approve engineering changes (ECO/ECN) from a quality perspective.
4. Supplier Quality Management
Evaluate supplier performance and manage
SCARs
, PPAP,



and FAI when required.
Ensure incoming materials meet specifications and quality requirements.
Support supplier audits and qualification activities.
5. Continuous Improvement
Participate in
Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen
initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve product quality, process efficiency, and cost reduction.
Use data‐driven methods to optimize processes and reduce defects.
Minimum Requirements
Strong understanding of
quality tools
: FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP.
Analytical mindset with strong problem‐solving skills.
Ability to work cross‐functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency with quality and statistical software.
Fluent English
