About the Position:
We are looking for a Testing Technician to join the Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Testing Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, Estado de México.
As the Testing Technician at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of SMT equipment and processes, performing electrical and functional tests on PCBAs, and providing maintenance and technical support for fault resolution, with a focus on test equipment used in the automotive industry.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Perform diagnostics, repair, preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT equipment
Conduct electrical and functional tests on PCBAs according to automotive quality standards
Document and report technical incidents and test results




Collaborate with process and quality engineers to resolve complex issues
Maintain inventory and status updates for test equipment
What Qualifications you will bring:
Engineer or Technician in Electronics or Electromechanics
Solid knowledge of electrical and functional testing of PCBAs
Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment such as ICT, OBP, EOL, Flying Probe, and electronic measurement equipment
Experience in electronic product testing for the automotive industry is highly desirable
Other skills that we would welcome:
Analytical and problem-solving abilities for root cause analysis of faults
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and technical manuals
Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Basic knowledge of programming for test systems (optional but advantageous)
Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in electronic manufacturing
