Accountabilities:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust backend applications, improving system architecture, and delivering high-quality solutions in collaboration with distributed teams.
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
Build scalable and reliable APIs to support business-critical applications and digital products.
Develop and integrate REST APIs while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
Work with PostgreSQL databases to design efficient data structures and optimize queries.
Utilize Elasticsearch to support search functionality and improve application performance.
Leverage AWS services to support cloud-based development, deployment, and infrastructure needs.
Analyze technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.




Collaborate with international teams, product stakeholders, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code quality standards, and engineering best practices.
Manage development tasks independently while maintaining clear communication in a remote environment.
Requirements:
We are seeking a senior backend professional with strong PHP expertise, experience with Laravel, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in distributed teams.
5+ years of professional experience in backend development with PHP.
Strong hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
Solid knowledge of REST APIs and backend application architecture.
Experience working with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based development environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience collaborating with remote, international teams.
Good communication skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
Passion for technology, software engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in English for professional communication is preferred.
