Job Description Position Overview As the Assistant General Counsel you will provide professional legal advice, counsel, support and guidance to Invenergy's business development and operations in Mexico.
Responsibilities Provide legal support on regulatory matters with regards to permitting, registration and authorization of various energy projects, including managing the relationship with governmental agencies such as Ministry of Energy, Energy Regulatory Commission, National Center of Energy Control, amongst others.




Provide legal support on a wide variety of commercial transactions, including acquisitions and sales of energy facilities, joint ventures and other joint development arrangements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, power purchase agreements and other off-take and hedge agreements, interconnection agreements, supply agreements and operations and maintenance agreements.
Provide legal support on real estate matters with regards to land use and construction licenses, ROWs, amongst others, as well as governmental authorities interaction in such regard.
