Job Summary Performs a variety of engineering work in design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes.
Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts Job Responsibilities Perform periodic Laser Tracker/CMM inspections of assembly jigs and products.
Manage periodic inspection and maintenance of shop-floor assembly tooling and jigs.
Provide tooling engineering support to production.
Design and develop mold tools, assembly jigs, and fixtures, from initial concept through production implementation.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
Perform CNC setup and programming.
Develop prototypes using 3D printing Experience in mechanical design using CATIA V5.
Experience in the aerospace industry and familiarity with AS**** requirements.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of GD and is committed to pushing the boundaries even further.
