Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

HR Done For You is partnering with an established organization operating within the manufacturing, industrial, trading, and distribution sector to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its San Juan del Río, Querétaro location.

This is a senior executive leadership opportunity for a strategic and hands-on finance professional who can lead the organization’s financial operations, strengthen financial controls, support continued growth, and partner closely with executive leadership.

The CFO will oversee the company’s financial strategy and day-to-day finance function, providing accurate financial insight and ensuring strong financial discipline across the organization. This position requires an executive who is equally comfortable developing long-term strategy and working directly with the details of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the company's overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, treasury, tax, banking, and financial controls.
- Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, budgets, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Develop financial models and analysis to support business growth, capital investments, operational decisions, and long-term planning.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
- Monitor profitability, margins, working capital, inventory, expenses, and overall business performance.




- Partner with operational and executive leadership to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee annual budgets and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax professionals, financial institutions, and other external partners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, regulatory, and corporate requirements in Mexico.
- Identify financial and operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Support executive leadership with financial due diligence and analysis related to expansion, investments, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives as applicable.
- Establish and monitor financial KPIs and provide actionable business insights based on financial and operational data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree, CPA-equivalent credential, or other relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Significant progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including experience in a senior financial leadership capacity.
- Experience within manufacturing,



industrial, trading, distribution, supply chain, or a related environment strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and internal controls.
- Experience managing complex financial operations and working with senior executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial and regulatory requirements applicable to business operations in Mexico.
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial information into clear business recommendations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Work Location

This is a full-time, in-office executive position located in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico.

Candidates must be able to work regularly from the San Juan del Río office. This is not a remote position.
