Technical Skills

- Essential: Fabric or equivalent product, Lakehouse, Notebooks (validate & test), Semantic Models, Power BI, Pyspark, SQL, ETL, Python, Dashboards, Connect Test Report, Test Data, Validated Data Pipeline, Testing Data Pipeline, Data Loaded, Data Warehousing, Data Science, Data Testing, Data Testing, Data Analytics.

- Plus: Microsoft Fabric, Data Governance, Real-Time Analytics - Intelligence, Data Architecture (define), Test Architecture, UAT.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

- Strong understanding SQL & data-comparison skills.




- Ability to document defects clearly with reproducible steps & expected/presente results.
- Comfort testing web/reporting interfaces & validating data outputs.
- Support semantic-model & report testing, including filters, measures, relationships, refresh behavior & user-facing results.
- Maintain test-case libraries, coverage matrices & defect records.
- Data Pipelines & Transformation
- Experience with data/analytics testing, rather than only traditional UI or application testing.
- Understand testing at an architectural/data level, including data pipelines, transformations, semantic models, Power BI datasets/reports & data validation.
- Should be comfortable identifying where testing needs to happen across the data and analytics architecture, not simply testing the final dashboard.
- Understand how to test changes without breaking existing reports, datasets, or downstream analytics.
- Define the testing approach/framework, not just execute test cases.
- Demonstrate strong architectural understanding, especially at the data/analytics level.

Nice to Have

- Experience Pharma or clinical industries
