The team manages end-to-end door-to-door coordination, including customs processes such as import/export, INBOND, ATA Carnet, and CITES, while maintaining clear visibility throughout each shipment.

Role Description The OBC/Handcarry Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Guadalajara, Mexico Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing time-critical hand-carry shipments from initial request through successful delivery, ensuring compliance with airline, customs, and security requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing booking arrangements, preparing shipment documentation, monitoring shipment status, and communicating updates to internal teams and clients.





The role also involves maintaining detailed records, supporting continuous process improvements, and ensuring that each shipment meets Runway Logistics’ standards for service quality and reliability. Strong analytical skills to assess routing options, evaluate risks, and support data-driven operational decisions. Sales skills to support rapid-response quoting, identify customer needs, and contribute to business growth opportunities.

Operations management skills to coordinate time-critical shipments, manage logistics workflows, and ensure service reliability. Project management skills to handle multiple concurrent shipments, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency with standard office and logistics software; Fluency in Spanish and strong English skills; Availability for adaptable working hours and weekend or holiday support as required by urgent shipments.
