Requirements

Must-have experience

- 5+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure Administration within enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Azure subscription administration and resource governance.
- Hands-on experience managing Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, DNS, Network Security Groups, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Storage.
- Experience supporting and administering Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
- Strong knowledge of FSLogix administration and profile management.
- Experience with image management, maintenance, and patching processes for virtual desktop environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID administration and identity governance.
- Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access, Managed Identities, and Group Management.
- Experience conducting access reviews and implementing identity security best practices.
- Strong background in Azure Security and Governance.
- Experience implementing and managing Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Security Center, compliance controls, governance frameworks, and security guardrails.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault, including secret, certificate, and key management.
- Experience implementing secure automation using Managed Identities and enterprise security controls.
- Strong experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, dashboards, incident response, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and capacity management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting.
- Experience with Azure Automation and operational process automation.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with ARM Templates and Bicep.




- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure operations and production environments.
- Experience working within regulated environments with compliance and governance requirements.
- Knowledge of audit readiness, access controls, documentation standards, and change management processes.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and operational support skills.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.

Nice-to-have experience
- Experience with Nerdio administration and optimization.
- Experience designing or supporting Azure Landing Zones.
- Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
- Azure Network Engineer Associate certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience supporting the transition of cloud platforms from implementation teams to operations teams.
- Knowledge of export control compliance requirements and highly regulated enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Azure platform administration and operational support activities.
- Administer Azure subscriptions, resource governance, networking components, and cloud infrastructure services.
- Support and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including image management, patching, and platform optimization.
- Partner with technical leadership to ensure platform stability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance standards, policies, security controls, and compliance requirements.
- Manage identity and access controls through Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, and access review processes.
- Administer Azure Key Vault and ensure secure management of secrets, certificates, and encryption keys.
- Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics,



creating dashboards, alerts, and operational insights.
- Lead incident response activities, troubleshooting efforts, Root Cause Analysis investigations, and service restoration actions.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, and documentation standards.
- Support capacity planning, operational readiness, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations stakeholders to implement and maintain enterprise cloud standards.
- Maintain operational documentation, change management records, and support procedures.
- Drive improvements in automation, governance, monitoring, and platform efficiency.
