Your Role As a Java Developer
you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for Capgemini’s integral clients. You will leverage modern Java technologies, Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and database technologies to deliver scalable and reliable applications. Working within a collaborative environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while contributing to technical excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities & Scope

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Framework

Build scalable and resilient microservices-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, clients, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Develop, optimize, and support database-driven applications ensuring performance and reliability

Participate in application design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices

Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development team

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and performance issues

Support application deployments and production releases while ensuring system stability

Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the team





Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within distributed development environments

Ensure adherence to Capgemini standards, governance processes, and delivery methodologies

Your Profile

Proven experience developing software solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture

Strong understanding of database technologies and application integration patterns

Experience delivering enterprise applications in Banking or Financial Services environments

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging clients and business stakeholders

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and guide fellow developers

Familiarity with Agile development practices and modern software engineering methodologies
