Job purpose Focused on designing, improving, and scaling transmission network models used for congestion simulations and FTR trading across ERCOT-SPP
Duties and responsibilities Own the architecture, assumptions, and implementation of large-scale transmission network models used in trading.
Design and improve power flow modeling frameworks, including topology processing,



shift factor computation, contingency definitions, and scenario construction.
Translate forward-looking network changes (outages, new transmission, generators, load evolution) into structured model inputs.
Create innovative approaches to improve simulation accuracy, solution efficiency, and model robustness.
Identify and integrate new data sources or structural insights into Bravos’ network models.
Serve as final technical reviewer for model changes deployed into trading workflows.
Lead, mentor, and set technical standards for transmission analysts.
Requirements Experience in electricity markets
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power systems, Physics, Applied Mathematics
Experience with PSSE, Power World
