Role Description The Northern Mexican Recording (Freelance) role is a part-time, remote position focused on creating high-quality audio recordings in Northern Mexican Spanish. Day-to-day tasks include recording scripted or prompted speech, ensuring clear pronunciation and consistent audio quality, and following detailed linguistic and technical guidelines provided by project managers. The role may also involve reviewing and tagging recordings for accuracy, collaborating with quality assurance teams,



and providing cultural or linguistic feedback to improve AI language models.

Work is performed independently, with adaptable hours based on project availability.

Qualifications

- Strong command of Northern Mexican Spanish, with clear, natural pronunciation and familiarity with regional expressions.
- Ability to follow scripts, prompts, and technical instructions accurately while maintaining consistent recording quality.
- Basic audio recording skills, including use of microphones, recording software, and quiet recording environments.
- Attention to detail for reviewing, labeling, and validating recordings according to project standards.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a suitable computer or mobile device for remote work.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a freelance, part-time setting.
- Prior experience in voice recording, voice-over, transcription, or linguistic data projects is a plus.
