We are looking for a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that support production requirements and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and TL 9000 standards.

What is your role?
As a Quality Engineer, you will support quality processes, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process compliance.

Major responsibilities and tasks

Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000

Determine resource requirements for the Quality Engineering department; people, equipment, facilities as well as its optimization.

Conduct product, process and systems.

Conduct finished goods materials inspections and drive continuous improvements activities.

Lead KPI and Corrective Actions through problem solving to improve indicators (8D, 5 whys, A3, etc.)

Attend Customer Notifications

Coordinate Process Audit & MSA.

What do you need to have?

Engineering degree

2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

Experience reading technical drawings

Experience with ISO 9001; TL 9000 is a plus

Knowledge of measurement equipment

Lean Manufacturing knowledge

Strong problem-solving skills

English: 80%

What’s in it for you
Develop robust and reliable manufacturing processes related to CNC precision machining to support regular operations, NPD programs, and productivity initiatives in Monterrey facility. The Machining PQE should constantly meet Product/Project Costs, Quality, and implementation schedule established by the project while being a mentor for the machining team.

This position will be located in Apodaca, Reciente Leon.

What you will do

Apply highly technical skills in developing CNC processes (roughing, milling, finishing) achieving Process Control and Capability requirements, while meeting Safety Requirements.

Define machine specifications, approval protocols, runoff, and installation requirements for Capital equipment related to CNC machining.

Perform advanced problem solving using 6‑Sigma, DOE, A3, 9 Step Problem Solving, and 5‑Why tools to systematically determine root cause.

Develop, maintain, and improve CNC machining programs through deep analysis of Critical Dimensions and Tolerancing.

Design/select machining tools and fixtures, define inspection process applying GD&T; principles, and develop process monitoring and support CMM measurement programs.

Analyze, develop and implement process improvements in CNC machining operations.

Perform administrative tasks as part of project implementation: Purchase Orders and follow up (Capital, equipment, fixtures, and tools).

Measure, analyze and improve indicators in SQDIP (SCRAP, FPY, DPU’s, Downtime and Efficiency of machining equipment).

Develop and update Control Plans, PFMEAs, JSAs and Ergonomic studies related to machining and assembly processes. Follow up to the EHS scorecard metrics.





Collaborate in Opex initiatives as VSAs, RIEs, and Gembas.

What you will bring

Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic BSc degree, preferrable MSc Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality or similar.

Manufacturing/Process/Quality Engineer with at least 8 years on Precision machining and Programming (roughing, milling, finishing).

Project Management skills

Advance CNC programming and tool selection and design.

Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, material flow, DMAIC, GD&T;, Minitab, TPM, and AutoCAD, with proven ability to coach, mentor, and support team capability development.

Proven experience leading teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Advanced knowledge of English

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: The Customer Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing and resolving quality-related issues, including customer complaints, returned material analysis (RMA), corrective and preventive actions and customer quality performance metrics. This role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal teams on quality matters, driving effective problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

Manage customer complaints, RMAs, and quality-related escalations through effective resolution and closure.

Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions using structured problem‑solving methodologies.

Coordinate cross‑functional teams to contain issues, resolve customer concerns, and prevent recurrence.

Monitor and communicate customer quality KPIs, including complaints, response times, returns, and cost of poor quality.

Ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements, quality standards, and corporate procedures.

Support customer audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain effective communication with customers regarding quality performance, investigations, and corrective actions.

Prepare and present quality reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans to management.

Drive customer satisfaction through proactive quality management and continuous improvement efforts.

For This Role, You Will Need

5 years of relevant work experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering

Fluent in English

Customer Compliant Management

Problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, A3, DMAIC).

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action validation.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) process management.

Quality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.

Engineering drawing interpretation, GD&T;, and customer specifications.

Statistical analysis and quality KPI management.

Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Customer‑Specific Requirements (CSRs).
